Happy New Year and welcome to 2023! I wanted to spend this first episode of 2023 talking about the direction of the Frugalpreneur podcast.

Over the years, I have mainly done long-form interview-style episodes that range anywhere from 30 mins to an hour. However, as you may have noticed with the last several episodes of 2022, I have been doing episodes under 10 mins. While I will still have the occasional long-form interview, I feel that these shorter episodes can really get to the point and pack a punch. With those episodes in particular, I am featuring entrepreneurs who bootstrapped their business and getting insight into their tips, tricks, and tactics in how to do so, and the successes and failures along the way. If you happen to have a bootstrapped story like this, I’d love to feature you as well. You can go to frugal.show/guest to learn more.

In addition to both long and short showcase-style podcast episodes, I will also be doing more solo podcast episodes, which will usually be between 5 to 20 mins in length. These will mainly be discussing some new software, tool, or resource that is beneficial for me in my business that I feel would be for other bootstrapped entrepreneurs as well. In addition, I will also be doing solo episodes where I talk about a specific thing I’ve learned or insight that I want to share. And last but not least, I also want to start answering your questions. If you have a specific questions you want answers to in regards to bootstrapping a business, monetizing and marketing a podcast, or just general business insight, feel free to leave me a message at frugal.show/message. You can ask me anything you’d like, and if I feel it makes sense for the podcast, I will play your question and answer it on the show.

My overall goal is to have two podcast episodes released per week, and it will be a mix of any of all of these podcast styles: long-form interview, short-form showcase episodes, and solo episodes. If there is a specific topic you’d like me to cover, please let me know. And again, if you have a specific question, go to frugal.show/message, or if you want to share your own bootstrapped business journey, go to frugal.show/guest.

Thanks again for listening and your continued support. It means a lot to me. Here’s to a wonderful year ahead!
